Sometimes we like to lighten our hair, so we reach for this spray that uses Costa Rican pineapple and Meyer lemon to lighten our hair by enhancing the sun's natural highlighting effects.
Blonde hair lightener from Sun Bum The Hair Lightener has been specially developed to lighten our hair by enhancing the natural highlighting effects of the sun. Infused with pineapple, the special UV-activated blend creates natural subtle tones and beautiful highlights without brassiness. We are excited to share one of our best secrets with you. While they like to use lemon and pineapple juice directly to lighten our hair, Sun Bum has added a little hydrogen peroxide to give us faster results. They didn't feel right bottling pure lemon juice and charging you for it, so if you want to go au naturel, pick some lemons from your neighbor's tree and squeeze the juice into your hair, old school. And yes, the blonde results are permanent.
How to use: For an all-over lightening and brightening effect, spray on dry or damp hair before sun exposure. For sun-kissed highlights, spray onto selected strands. To avoid breakage and over-drying, we do not recommend using more than once between washes.
